Staying Positive

It's so hard to stay positive, specially when you are in the middle of difficult circumstances, in the middle of problems or very negative situations and people.

We have all encountered situations at various points of our lives when someone  has said something negative about us for no reason. A classmate has said negative comments about your personality, a friend comments on what you wear, a family member criticizes your personality in a negative way, but we have all been on that spot, where you feel you have become a target.

I can count the times I have gone through those situations, in high school, in college, as an adult at work and I can say it has felt really bad. I have been broken by it and I have been hurt, but during that time, only one person has been there for me and has made me feel whole and positive. He has stood by my side and with him I have had the courage to withstand and come out with a healthy and healed heart. I have found strength in God and Jesus and with them I have been able to ignore those who offend me, turn around and wish them well, because no matter what you do God is always with you, to hold you, to hugh you, to care for you and encourage you.

I know its hard to forgive but I encourage you, forgive, let go, move on. Once you decide to brush it off, you will feel a weight has been lifted off your shoulders.

Macarons.. macalicious

Have you ever tried these delicious pastries called macarons?? They are the most delicious French pastries. A macaron is a sweet meringue‑based confection made with eggs, icing sugar, granulated sugar, almond powder or ground almond, and food colouring. It is also called Luxemburgerli.
Well, I'm sure there are more delicious pastries than these but right now im so deliciously hooked on Macarons. I like them all flavors but somehow I really like the strawberry and hazelnut ones.
They make them all sizes and they vary in price range, it all depends where you buy them but I would recommend spend a little money on them.
The famous  french bakery in the east side NYC called  FRANCOIS PAYARD has a great variety and they are to die for. If you ever get a chance, have some, try them. They are not your every day pastries but they are worth the while and money when you have them.
